About Me

Hana | 24 y/o (8/31) | She/They

Hi, I'm Hana, but you may also call me Flower!
I'm a graphic designer/graphic design graduate and digital artist from the United States.
I've been drawing ever since I was in elementary school with just pencils, colored pencils, crayons, and paper.
I draw mostly fan art and art of my original characters (OCs), but I also do personal art on the side.

My Portfolio

This page contains my original artwork, whether the artwork is fan art, OC (Original Character) art, and/or personal art, as well as my projects from school and other things.
The images/buttons below lead to each page of art sorted by year, starting from 2019 to 2025 this year, and to current day.
The "My School Projects" section, however, list projects and/or art during my time in a graphic design and web development program from March of 2024 to January of 2025 (this year).

Course 101 Work

These pieces were done for the Graphic Design Principles course (GDWD Course 101).
The program(s) used to make these pieces were Clip Studio Paint (sketching) and Adobe Illustrator (final pieces).

I used Adobe Illustrator previously in the past, however, but I never got more in-depth with any of the tools and tidbits that this course went through.
This course was also the very first course of the Graphic Design & Web Development program I attended remotely.

Course 102 Work

These pieces were done for the Digital Illustration course (GDWD Course 102).
The program(s) used to make these pieces were Clip Studio Paint (sketching) and Adobe Illustrator (final pieces).
I only had the PNG files for these 3 pieces exported and saved, however, as the rest of my files are .ai files I cannot access at this time.

Course 103 Work

These pieces were done for the Photoshop & Digital Photography course (GDWD Course 103).
I used Adobe Photoshop for every piece on this page, including the animations seen below.

I also used a Canon EOS Rebel T7 to take my photos and also used Adobe Photoshop for my product photography project images seen below, as well.
I used Adobe Photoshop previously in the past, however, but not fully in-depth, like this course had done so.

Course 104 Work

These pieces were done for the UI/UX Design course (GDWD Course 104).
I mostly used Figma for all the pieces seen below.
This course was also the very first time I used Figma, and it was also my first time touching UI/UX design and Figma in general.

Bonus Images

Crowning Jewels (GUI Project)

Crowning Jewels was a company I made up for my GUI project that was made for this course.
The images below are the PNG files for each page on the website, as I personally don't feel comfortable posting the link to the actual Figma file.

The logo I made for the made-up Crowning Jewels company is seen below, as well.
The logo was originally sketched out on Clip Studio Paint, and the final logo design was made and finalized on Adobe Illustrator.

Course 105 Work

These websites were coded from scratch as they were coding project assignments for the Web Design & Development course (GDWD Course 105).
This course was the very first time I used Visual Studio Code for putting the coding together and GitHub for website hosting.

These websites were coded using HTML and CSS, as the main focus for this course were to code websites using both HTML and CSS.
The links to these websites have been live for a while, and are linked underneath the image previews seen below.

Course 106 Work

These video project assignments were made for the Motion Graphics course (GDWD Course 106).
This course was the very first time I started using Adobe After Effects for putting videos together, as well as making simple animations for the projects assigned for this course.

Each video below has not only a preview of that video, but they also have a button linked to view the full videos outside the portfolio.
These might be the projects I'm most proud of, however, even if they're simple animations.

Logo Animation Project

Kinetic Typography Project

I was assigned a song to do a kinetic typography lyric project for said song.
This was also my very first project done in Adobe After Effects for the motion graphics course.

Loading Bar
(Exercise)

Not much to say on this, really. Besides the fact that this loading bar video was originally made as a part of an exercise assignment for the motion graphics course.

Logo Animation Project

I had to come up with a logo animation for a pre-existing logo for a made up company.
I originally made storyboards before moving onto the actual animation for this project.
This was also made for the motion graphics course.

Course 107 Work

These pages were made for the Layout Design course (GDWD Course 107).
This course was the very first time I used Adobe InDesign in-depth, as I was never taught any extra tools and helpful tidbits when I used it previously in the past.

Course 108 Work

These pieces were made for the final course of the Graphic Design & Web Development program, the Web & Graphics Portfolio course (GDWD Course 108).
I was assigned to remake and/or touch up any projects that were made throughout the program.

I chose to remake the illustrations seen below, as well as make new illustrations of my original characters.
I also was assigned to remake my brand style guide and my personal logo projects, so the new & current logo is seen below, as well.
